Seifert Enterprises is a native Colorado, family-owned and -operated company, equipped to meet the demands of any job. Since our founding in 1975, we have grown into a full-service heavy equipment construction and trucking company serving projects throughout the state.

Our work includes, but isn't limited to, general excavation, septic installations, vault systems, new road building, road maintenance and repair, foundation digs, culvert and cattle guard installations, and utility trenching.

Seifert Enterprises operates five aggregate pits throughout Custer County, supplying road base, rock, topsoil, crusher fines, and fill dirt for projects of any size. Materials can be delivered directly to your job site, or picked up at our Westcliffe yard — a convenient option for the community tackling smaller projects. Our rock is sold throughout the state of Colorado and can be seen in landscaping across large subdivisions and commercial projects alike, a testament to the quality and reliability of our materials.

Eric Seifert Owner/Operator — U.S. Marine Corps Veteran

Eric Seifert was raised in the Westcliffe Valley, where he first learned the work ethic that would carry him through the rest of his career. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving his country before transitioning into the construction industry.

Over more than 25 years, Eric has built an extensive career as a project manager, overseeing every phase of complex construction work — from project planning and equipment operation to contractor bidding and quality control. His experience runs from the oil fields of Montana and North Dakota to the southern mountain region of Colorado, where he now leads projects today.

As Owner/Operator, Eric brings the discipline instilled by his military service together with decades of hands-on industry expertise, leading every project with precision, integrity, and care.

Jake Seifert Owner/Operator

Jake Seifert was raised in the Westcliffe Valley, where he began his career straight out of high school, building highways, golf courses, overlot grading, and numerous other projects across the state of Colorado. He joined the Seifert family business in 2005 and has spent the years since building, digging, and grading hundreds of commercial and residential projects throughout the state.

With over 30 years in heavy equipment construction, Jake brings deep knowledge and broad hands-on experience to every project — expertise that has been instrumental to the success of Seifert Enterprises.

Robert Buffum Owner/Operator

Robert Buffum moved to the Westcliffe Valley at age 11 and grew up around Seifert operations, learning to operate heavy equipment and the excavation process from a young age. He worked at Seifert's throughout high school and has continued building on that foundation ever since.

With over 30 years of knowledge and experience, Robert has been a driving force behind the continued success of Seifert Enterprises.

Lindsey Seifert Owner/Office Manager

Lindsey Seifert was born and raised in Cañon City, Colorado. With more than 28 years of experience in office administration and customer service — including 20 years in human resources and office management — she brings professionalism and outstanding customer service to the Seifert Enterprises and Beach Redi Mix office.
